Our Purpose

The purpose of Fairview Baptist Church is to "Connect People to God, His Church, Ministry and the World."

This purpose is not a linear purpose with an end. Rather, it is progressive and continuous. Our first and primary purpose behind everything we do it to help people get connected to God through a personal relationship with Him. Beginning with worship and moving through every ministry, we realize the most important task of the church is to lead people to salvation in Jesus Christ.

As a person gets connected to God, we want them to connect to His church. Baptism and church membership are emphasized along with involvement in small groups such as Sunday school where a person can build discipling relationships with other believers.

Once a person is involved in small groups, we help them get involved in ministry in some way. There are many volunteer opportuities in which members as well as attenders can serve. Our Connections Class is designed to help adults discover how they can use their gifts, passions, abilities, personality and experiences to serve God in our church and community.

As a church and individual believers it is our calling to share Christ with the world. It is our desire to equip and involve everyone to be on mission for God. We offer mission opportunities in which all ages can be involved in helping more people get connected with God.

And the cycle continues.
